Balanced and lightly creamy, offering pretty flavors of plum sauce and raspberry coulis threaded with hints of ground spice. Elegant, with a floral finish. Drink now.

My Review
As you probably noticed in the title, this wine was put on repeat at a tasting with the Vintage Cellar. Why? Because the wine has changed a lot since 2/27, when we initially tasted it. This wine still presents a clean violet color but the nose is now more red fruit and raspberry than blackberry and floral as before. Upon tasting, this wine is still smooth and slightly tannic, but the fruit and acid notes, while still present are more of hints than anything else. There is now however the introduction of some smokey notes that weren't there before as well as a little spicy/earthiness, and a nice plumy finish. This wine is quite nice and has a nice mouth feel, but as the other review above mentions, if it has changes this much in less than two full months, DRINK IT NOW. 79-80/100
